Terms of service

These terms govern your use of CherryPick, a service that analyses a product website and optionally a GitHub repository, identifies potentially relevant directories, and prepares repository-specific submissions for your review.

1. Accounts and GitHub

Continuing with GitHub creates a CherryPick account. You are responsible for using an account you control and for the GitHub permissions you grant. You may disconnect GitHub from CherryPick; we then stop using the stored authorization for CherryPick workflows.

2. Reviews and submissions

CherryPick prepares drafts for your review. A pull request is opened only when you click to send that list. The PR comes from your GitHub account. Opens are spaced so a full set of lists does not go out at once. A directory maintainer decides whether to accept, reject, or merge any contribution. CherryPick does not guarantee eligibility, acceptance, traffic, ranking, or business results.

3. Your content and acceptable use

You keep ownership of your website, repository, and other content you provide. You give CherryPick permission to process that content to provide the service. Do not submit secrets, credentials, unlawful material, or content you do not have permission to use. You must follow GitHub's terms and acceptable-use rules and each target repository's contribution rules.

4. Payments

Prices and payment terms are shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe. CherryPick does not receive your full payment-card details.

5. Email

We may send account, support, security, and other service messages needed to operate CherryPick. Optional product suggestions and marketing messages are sent only when you separately opt in, and you can withdraw that preference.

6. Service availability

CherryPick is provided on an availability basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, including provider integrations and submission workflows. Nothing in these terms promises that every scan or provider request will complete.
